A Raleigh native, Melissa earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from NC State University.
She worked as a Senior Associate with Grant Thornton LLP before joining Oak City Consulting in 2012, where she now serves as Chief Financial Officer.
Her responsibilities include presentations, problem-solving for custodians, and accounting assistance for the foundations and endowments the firm serves.
